Announcing the Next Wave Creative and Media Marketing Team

We’re excited to officially open applications for the Creative & Media Marketing Team, a new opportunity for high school students to gain hands-on experience in content creation, design, and social media growth.

We’re currently looking for 6–7 high school students (grades 9–12) to join our first Creative & Media Marketing Team. As Next Wave expands, so will this team and many more— meaning there’s plenty of room to grow with us. Creative and Media Marketing are two sides of one team, and is built around flexibility, consistency, and creativity. There are no heavy time commitments, so you can contribute on your own schedule as long as you stay active and communicate.

This is also a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in creative media, social media management, and digital strategy, experiences that you can add to your portfolios, LinkedIn, college apps and resumes. You’ll get to say you helped grow a teen-led platform from the ground up—and made a real impact along the way.

For Creative Applicants

If you love graphic design, video editing, or visual storytelling, this side of the team is all about creation. You’ll be designing posts, crafting visuals for our website, and helping bring Next Wave’s mission to life through digital content.

For Media Marketing Applicants (Experience Required)

This side of the team focuses on strategy and outreach — building visibility for Next Wave across platforms. If you have experience running social media accounts, experimenting with algorithms, or using analytics tools, this is where you’ll shine. Your work will help expand Next Wave’s reach, find new creators, and grow our community.
