Look Don’t Touch by Briana Johnson (Colorado, 16)

 About This Piece

I did this artwork because I’m mixed with black and white and I’ve always felt out of place like I’m too white for black people and too black for white people. In middle school people always thought they could touch my hair which really irritated me because I felt as if I was a zoo animal. So I decided to create this artwork to really express how I feel and to let others know that I see them as well.
