As we step into 2026, Next Wave is entering a new chapter, one we’re calling The New Tide.

The New Tide represents a new wave of youth voices, creativity, and leadership rising together. After a quieter period of building behind the scenes, Next Wave is expanding beyond its early phase and moving toward something bigger.

What Is The New Tide?

The New Tide is about:

• Emerging talent stepping into visibility

• Momentum after a quiet period of growth

• Next Wave expanding beyond its early foundation

At its core, The New Tide is a reminder that creativity doesn’t stay still. It grows, shifts, and rises, and so does this community!

New Additions & Goals for The New Tide

As part of this new year campaign, Next Wave is introducing several new initiatives focused on leadership, outreach, and consistency.

Leadership & Community Growth

One of the biggest additions this year is the introduction of new leadership roles:

• Head of the Arts

• Head of the Crafts

These student leaders will help guide and represent the two creative areas of Next Wave while working closely with the founder to support outreach, visibility, and growth. Stay tuned to see who will be stepping into these exciting leadership roles!

We’re also preparing to launch the Next Wave Northeast Ambassador Chapter—a growing team of high school students helping promote and expand Next Wave throughout the Tri-State area and Pennsylvania. This program is still in the planning stages, but it marks an exciting step toward building a larger, more connected community.

Outreach & Consistency

The New Tide places a strong focus on reaching new creators and communities, and consistency is a major goal of ours for 2026. During The New Tide, Next Wave will focus on:

• Direct outreach to schools, libraries, clubs, and creative programs

• Collaborating with educators and community spaces to introduce Next Wave

• Increasing consistency in submissions, features, and social media posting

• Planning for the launch of blog writers, who will help share opportunities, spotlights, and community updates (coming after ambassadors are established).

The Goal of The New Tide

The goal of The New Tide is simple but powerful: to relaunch Next Wave with momentum and visibility, bringing in new creators, empowering student leaders, and laying the foundation for long-term growth.
